100 Mile Menu celebrates local cuisine
Sourced within a 100 mile radius of The Sebel Trinity Wharf
The innovative 100 Mile Menu recently launched by Halo Lounge & Dining is focused on sustaining local businesses as well as bodies.
Active members of The Bay of Plenty Sustainable Tourism Charter, The Sebel Trinity Wharf Tauranga management team identified an opportunity to reduce carbon foot prints by sourcing high quality ingredients that could be gathered from with in a 100 mile radius of the hotel restaurant.
Executive Chef Daniel Simpson and his team are proud to present a 2 course lunch special with set entree and a set main course complemented with glass of local Covell Estate wine.
Simpson explains "Many of our guests when attending an event within The Sebel often come to the hotel restaurant for lunch and get the opportunity to experience the 100 Mile Menu. The feedback we are receiving is that they are delighted that sustainable tourism can taste so good."
Just $29.50 per person. Monday to Friday, 12pm - 3pm.
