Things To Do in Mandurah

Mandurah is a city full of stunning waterways, wildlife, pristine beaches and world-class golf courses. See below to discover some of the activities and attractions located in Mandurah or visit the Mandurah Visitor Centre.

  1. Australian Sailing Museum

    The Australian Sailing Museum is a tourist attraction you don't want to miss!

    The museum offers a unique and comprehensive display of models, the history of Australian sailing from the 1800s, marine art and architecture, wax figures of sailing icons and pennants. The museum incorporates the Peninsula Art Gallery, the Boardwalk Cafe, Memorabilia and Print Shop and Rolly Tasker Sails-Australia. Open Monday - Sunday from 9am-5pm, it's a great place for all age groups to enjoy and gain some knowledge on Australian Sailing.

  2. Bouvard Cruises

  3. Peel Zoo

    Peel Zoo is one of the newest attractions to the region.

    Peel Zoo boarders the Murray River and has all the facilities you could want. There are parks and playgrounds, picnic spots and barbecues, a cafe and restaurant and not to mention a huge array of animals. There's a petting Zoo for kids to enjoy, Koalas, native and exotic birds, Bengal cats quolls, possums, owls, Australian parrots, huge walk thru aviaries and of course Kangaroos.

    Peel Zoo is open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm and is located only 10 minutes from Mandurah.

  4. Waterways

    Mandurah is shaped by various waterways and some of Australia's finest canals.

    The City of Mandurah sits between the Peel Estuary and Indian Ocean. Three rivers run into the estuary - the Murray, the Serpentine and the Harvey. These waterways and canals are perfect for fishing, crabbing, swimming, cruising and boating, jet skiing, scuba diving and waterskiing.  

    There are also plenty of day trips to be made from Mandurah, including the Serpentine Falls, Lane Pool Reserve and Lake Navarino as well as visiting the neighbouring country towns on your way through to these beautiful locations.

    In addition to the wonderful waterways, is the pristine waters of the Indian Ocean. Mandurah boasts some of the most beautiful, untouched beaches, ideal for families or the keen surfer.

  5. Golf

    World-class courses with sweeping views of the Indian Ocean.

    Some of Western Australia's premier golf courses are located in the heart of Mandurah. Each course is unique and offer first class facilities including pro shops, clubhouses, restaurants and bars. What makes for a perfect game of golf is the spectacular location of three of the courses which are surrounded by the white sandy shores of the Indian Ocean.
