  1. Cirque du Soleil - 'Dralion'

    With more then one million tickets sold in Australia to last year's production ‘Varekai', get ready and prepare yourself for this year's production ‘Dralion'.

    Since its debut in Montreal in 1999, Dralion has been praised worldwide by audiences and critics for its exquisite costumes, stunning sets and gravity-defying acrobatics and dance routines.

    From the seamless acrobatics of Azala, goddess of air, to the spectacular dance of Yao and his fire demons as well as the familiar Cirque du Soleil clowns, Dralion promises to be a breathtaking spectacle.

    This amazing production of Cirque du Soleil is playing during November - December at Hamilton less then a 15 minute drive from the hotel and only minutes from the train station.

  3. Brisbane International Tennis

    The Stage is Set!  Brisbane International is the first of the Australian Open Series tournaments held in the lead-up to the Australian Open.

    Queensland's newest and biggest sporting event will be hosted from 4-11 January 2009 at the brand new $80 million dollar purpose Queensland Tennis Centre.

    2008 Australian Open finalists Novak Djokovic, Jo-Wilfried & Ana Ivanovic just to name a few of the big name top players confirmed.

    With passes available from $9.90, the ground pass gives access to two undercover swho courts, all outdoor courts and more!  The hotel is located within a 5 minute walk to Roma St or Central Stations.  Public Transport is recommended when attending this event as parking is very limited.

    South Bank Parklands

    Brisbane is now home to its very own London Eye! 

    Climb aboard one of the 42 fully enclosed air conditioned gondolas and be gently lifted to a height of 60 meters for a spectacular view of the city.

    The wheel is located at South Bank in the heart of Brisbane's cultural, lifestyle and entertainment district.  Prices from $15 per adult or $10 for the littlies.

    Located on the site of the historic Expo '88, South Bank is at the very heart of Brisbane.
