Queensland Theatre Company - Season 2012
Queensland Theatre Company presents a passport to performance in Season 2012; an adventure into the classics, new comedies and big theatre experiences where every show is an exciting journey.
The Sebel & Citigate King George Square is delighted to partner with Queensland Theatre Company to offer theatre show packages including accommodation in this central Brisbane hotel and tickets to the latest theatre shows at QPAC.
Big ticket events include history’s greatest ever love story in Romeo and Juliet, the classic Australian play Summer of the Seventeenth Doll and the world premiere of Managing Carmen, a new David Williamson play about a cross-dressing footballer.
Outside mainhouse programming, the Company’s Bille Brown Studio will experience a remarkable transformation in 2012, morphing into The GreenHouse – a visceral incubator of art, ideas and exploration representing the next stage of QTC’s 2011 Studio Season. The GreenHouse will spring to life in May, July and October with performances, forums, workshops and creative developments, and will be home to an artists’ lounge.
