Transport Options

Car, taxi, train, ferry, bus or bike - the transport options are many and varied to get where you need to go in Brisbane.

The city centre lends itself to walking - with all major attractions, activities, shopping and dining located close to the CBD. Other convenient modes of transport available when visiting the "River City" include:

The Loop is a free bus service that runs through Brisbane's CBD. It has numerous major stops including Central Station, Queen Street Mall, Botanic Gardens, Riverside Centre, QUT and King George Square. Suburban Brisbane is also well-serviced by bus routes and busways operating from the CBD to most suburbs.

As well as being a spectacular feature and fantastic way to see the city, the Brisbane River serves as an efficient public transport system. CityCat services operate from approximately 5.50am to 10.30pm every day and travel both up and down river.

The Citytrain network extends from the centre of Brisbane south to Beenleigh and Robina on the Gold Coast, north to Ferny Grove, Shorncliffe, Caboolture and Gympie, east to Cleveland and west to Ipswich and Rosewood. The closest station to the hotel is Central.

Offering a direct service from the city to the airport in 20 minutes, AirTrain is the Brisbane city to airport rail link, with stations at both international and domestic terminals. This service also extends south as far as Robina Station on the Gold Coast.
