'Art Ducko' - The Story Behind the Duck
The Como Duck is a favourite and much loved amenity amongst our guests, his name is 'Art Ducko'.
The duck insignia is used in all aspects of the hotel and is particularly special to those who have already experienced The Como Melbourne.
When The Como opened in 1989, feedback from a hotel guest stated - "if only my rubber duck was in the bath tub, I would feel that I have returned to my home away from home". From this evolved our practice of placing Art Ducko in all guest suites.
Today, Art Ducko has become the much-cherished icon of The Como Melbourne and stands for everything Como - something special and a little different from the rest.
