Citigate Perth

Mirvac Hotels & Resorts commenced management of the Citigate Perth on 28 June 2007 and immediately embarked upon an $8m refurbishment program of the hotel.

The hotel has already seen some changes including the installation of air-conditioning, smoke detectors and an electronic key card entry. As well as an upgrade in the IT system and new gym equipment in the roof-top fitness room.

Stage 1 of the program is a complete soft refurbishment of the 278 guestrooms and suites, which will take place over a 6 month period from mid-late 2008. This will include new paint work, bedding package, writing and reading desk with complementing chair, in-room safe, LCD TV, special lighting, bed-side tables and mini-bar.  A prototype room is now available for viewing and site inspections.

The hotel Lobby will undergo a soft refurbishment, including the re-surfacing of the reception desk to wood and new soft furnishings throughout.

Stage 2 of the program is the total renovation of Seasons on Wellington restaurant and Ovations Bar, and the hotels conferencing facilities commencing from June 2008. New menus will be introduced and at this time current operating hours will continue.
