  1. Mount Panorama & the National Motor Racing Museum

    In 1938 the Mount Panorama Scenic Drive was opened to the public and became the home of motor racing in Australia.  It may have started its career as a dusty country track but Bathurst's Mount Panorama is now one of the world's top three motor racing circuits and home to one of Australia’s biggest sporting events – the Bathurst 1000.

  2. The Australian Fossil & Mineral Museum

    Situated in the heart of Bathurst, the Australian Fossil and Mineral museum is the home of the world renowned Sommerville collection.

    The Sommerville collection features some of the rare and finest examples of minerals and fossils in the world.

    Highlights include: 2,000 million year old garnets, Australia's largest collection of fossils in amber, fossil dinosaur eggs and the only complete T.rex skeleton in Australia.
